For over a decade, Kristen has been a columnist and author covering generational trends, polling, and politics. Her book The Selfie Vote: Where Millennials Are Leading America (And How Republicans Can Keep Up) was published by HarperCollins’ Broadside imprint in 2015 and is available in print and as an e-book.

“While so many politicians and strategists seem to think simply slapping something up on social media or snagging a celebrity endorsement means you’re down with the kids, Anderson painstakingly examines the technology, consumer habits and personal values shaping millennial politics, looking for ways conservatives can adapt or reinforce their principles to appeal to this group,” said Pulitzer Prize-winning Washington Post book critic Carlos Lozada in his review of The Selfie Vote.

Kristen also has a newsletter, Codebook, that regularly provides insights into the latest polls and what they can tell us about the political and cultural trends around us.

She was previously a columnist for The Washington Examiner and The Daily Beast and has also written for The New York Times, The Washington Post, and many more.
